OT: What site is good for measuring acres by aerial map?

Anyone know a good internet site to measure acres by aerial map/satellite? I was utilizing Googleplanimeter but I can't get it to load & function correctly. I searched FSA website but couldn't locate what I needed.

Acme planimeter. Place your pins and it does all the figuring. Can place as many as needed for odd shaped parcels.

Daftlogic has an application to do this that is very easy to use. From their home page select
"projects" then "Google maps area calculator tool".
 
Google earth works well for me, and it is now free... Was using the NRCS Soil Survey site. Harder to use but gives more than acreage by adding soil type maps.

The disclaimer shown below shows up when I clicked on your link the same as when I try that from my bookmarks.

This page can't load Google Maps correctly.
 
Acme has a bug as of a week or so. There is a work around, go into topography map I think it was, one of those options will put an areal map in it again.

Onxmaps is basically for hunters .it tells you who
owns the property you click on the aerial map,the
exact acreage and coordinates.it cost like 20 bucks
a year but is invaluable for hunters looking for
places to hunt and shows public land and has a
tracker and waypoints

right!

If I were you I wouldn't bet too much money that the tax office employees of the county I live could get anything correct. I caught them measuring incorrectly both structures that I've lived in by a substantial amount IIRC both were measured 200-300 sq ft larger than the blueprints called for.

Plus why waste time & gasoline to get something that's free !!

Many, many counties have GIS mapping on the property appraisers website or tax collectors website.
But usually the P.A.
Usually free and accessible to all anywhere, anytime.
And it will tell you who owns what, mailing addresses, taxes paid or not, permits issued, square footage and footprint sketches of dwellings and out buildings with dimensions, which properties changed hands in recent years etc. etc.
