Case 970 pto

Hi today I hooked up my round baler to find my pto will not work it spins without anything hooked to it but as soon as I hooked it up it no longer turns any ideas about what may be going on?

Check to see if the cable is broken. Under the cab on the right side you should see the hydraulic valve for the pto. Have someone move the
lever and see if the spool for the valve moves.

It does engage when nothing is hooked up lots of hydraulic issues this year I am going to assume it might be related.

T In a pressure gauge. To see if there is pressure there for the hydraulic disc
pack. I am guessing the cluches are burned out. Time to remove the back end to
replace the clutches. It is turning all the time because the clutches have been
overheated and warped. Causing drag and the brake can't hold.
