Got out the book and listened to YT responders to my post. Found the belts needed a little tightening and that I had tipped it forward a while back for some downed second cut clover. Of course I forgot to tip it back. Hope it's ready to roll if we ever get hay weather. We're up to one day in a row of sun. Hard to do dry hay in one day. Ten day weather forecast calls for nine days of rain or showers. Haven't baled since Grant took Richmond. s.w. Pa.

Forecasts like that is the main reason that I cut back to haying just 15 acres. I need only two good weather stretches. You could set up an hydraulic top link so that you could tilt ahead for downed stuff and then back up again. You would want limit rings on it so that it could not come too far. My NH411 had a remote tilt for the header so that I could change it on the fly.
