Just bought ford 4000 and was moving fine, now it won't move for nothing. Only 100 original hours in it. Any advice please is highly appreciated.

Check to see if the traction disconnect lever is engaged, lower left from the seat. The tractor should free-wheel if disengaged. Hours could be questionable as the proof meters on these were known to fail.

As Billy says.
Also, when asking questions about a Ford 4000 Always mention if it is a 62-64 four cylinder model or a 65-75 three cylinder model.
Both my 3000 and 4000 had less than 100 hours on them when I got them.

Since it was moving and now isn't you would know if it was the traction disconnect, so that is not likely to be your problem. Unless your tractor was a "school" tractor like UD's, it has a lot more than 100 hours. Even if it has very low hours it could have a lot of water in the transmission due to condensation. A good first step, before running it anymore is to drain a little oil from the bottom of the transmission in order to evaluate it's condition.

Thanks so much guys. The lever wasn't set right and when on park, it cannot be pushed too much. As soon as it hits park I stop. Pushing too much makes the tractor not start . I bought hydraulic oil and the tractor is now driving great. Need good gas tank cleanup because it sat outside for 6 years. Hours are going up. I'm now on 102 hours. Can the odometer have failed and started running again by itself?

"Can the odometer have failed and started running again by itself?"

I didn't see where you said which 4000 you had, but if it's a 62-64,
more likely the proofmeter was replaced at some point. About 100 hours ago.
