Best corn I've ever had just took this picture, how's yours?

Near Minneapolis. ..sweetcorn is tasseling, some even have cobs starting. Field corn is waist high or better in some fields but fields are uneven also. Next one might be foot shorter. Same with beans- very uneven. Almost hard to believe corn that high as late as spring got around here.

I'm supposed to go round bale for a neighbor today. I went and looked at it yesterday. He had ankle high corn where he took off first crop, and tasseling corn right next to it. Guess he averaged.
Most of my organic corn just canopied, but I plant late to avoid GMO contamination - June 1st. The bottom is another story. It's only up to my calf. Weedy as ever. I'm going out to cultivate it right now.

Around here corn is up 8 foot or better and tasseling. With todays hybrids its knee high by the fourth of june around here. The heat this month has really moved things along.

Mine is about 4-5 feet tall never remember corn that tall by the fourth before usually about the knee high. Beans are another thing all mine are about 4 inches or less.
My brothers beans planted later by a week are about a foot he told me today.
