OK, Valtra is a Finnish made tractor. Guess I'm slow today and missed the hidden meaning of your post. Now don't tell me that Valtra is made by the same people that make Viagra? I guess it's possible.
 
The last dealership I worked at sold Valtra tractors before Agco bought them. We went to a National Product into. Some mighty fine looking Finnish ladies at that. Not just the models either. The company ladies and wives where all nice on the eyes. Very nice people too. I enjoyed doing business with them. Shame that AGCO bought them out. Great Motors too.
 
Hi No it's not made by the same company. Agco owning the Valtra company sure made the experience of owning a good tractor in North America go "limp" in a hurry Though. If it wasn't for Agco I'd own another one and there are lots of other guys feel the same after we got told we'd have to buy a Massey instead !. They didn't like being told if we wanted MF's we'd already own them.

Agco answer to everything is Massey Ferguson except my friend went to buy a Massey and they wanted to sell him a Kubota he told em to stick it .
 
It was the DEALER, not AGCO that suggested the Kubota, and they were probably trying to do your friend a favor.

Kubota has absolutely nothing to do with AGCO, and since everyone thinks AGCO is so gosh-darned awful, you'd think your friend would be kissing the feet of a salesman that tried to steer them away from an AGCO product.
