Leak in Engine OIl Cooler Hose - causing issues - advice?

I have a 2003 Landini Vision 105.

It gave me a message on the dash - red indicator light with a drop of oil which indicates, according to the manual - either low pressure in the hydrualic system or a clogged filter. When it happens, tractor shuts down.
Had this Light last year, drained fluid, changed filters (inline steering and main one), changed fluid - tractor has been fine.

Yesterday while baling, I had that light come one once, went back off, no issues.
Today, had a few bales of junk to run through the baler and the tractor struggled to run correctly - revved up and down a few times, and that light came on and shut the tractor down...restarted and finished...seemed fine but still not running quite right.

Parked and opened the hood - noticed a pool of trans-hydraulic fluid in front of the radiator, on top of the Engine Oil Cooler - one of the two hoses was pretty wet adn seemed to have a decent sized crack/hole.

Either way the hose is being replaced but, is there a chance that this is causing the issues with the hydraulic system?
The leak is causing the low pressure?
Just wondering if we should fix the hose and run it? Or keep chasing other avenues?
