Can i use this coolant in a tractor??? Its all i have...

Is this coolant good to use in a tractor??? Its Prestone Concentrate Antifreeze/Coolant. My Tractor is a ford 640...

Yup just mix according to directions. Though I would keep the green antifreeze in it. When all those fancy extended life coolants came out about 115-20 years ago. They had some trouble with gaskets in older equipment and such going bad due to it. I only buy the green stuff for that reason. I don't mix them either.
 
Yes you can use that for your tractor. It will work great for that. I would not use it any modern car or truck. Most modern engines require antifreeze that has corrosion inhibitors for aluminum.

Yup, I rolled all my antifreeze to the "universal" type several years ago. It was frustrating to have several gallons of the original Prestone and non of the new stuff when I needed to top off my car or truck.
