Kinda like when I used to serve civil warrants almost all for money being owed,the warrant was almost always going to the place that had the house number missing.
 
Got a message on our phone recorder "from the IRS" and if we don't call them within 24 hours the local police will be on our doorstep.. they had the nerve to leave the message and a phone number. So far no police.... (uh.. this is a case where we're paid up and not trying to hide)
 
The IRS will never contact anyone by phone. I also get these calls, had three of them this week. Each call has a different number on the caller ID. If this persists I will get the Sheriff's dep. on the phone then 3 way the scammer on the line with the number they leave as a contact. Then let them explain what they are up to.

We got one of the IRS calls once. We were not home, but they actually left a message on the answering machine! I googled the phone number. Got all kinds of hits, all tying that number with a major scamming operation.
