Need help with identifying model and year of my Ford tractor

Hi new to the forum.....

I have a 545 or a 545A Ford tractor thst i want to order a couple manuals for plus, i need a hydrolic pump rebiild kit for, there are a couple different kits and gasket types etc... on my tractor the sticker has a 545A on it so i assume thats what it is BUT i dont want to order something and end up.ordering the wrong parts and mamuals etc....

I found these numbers just behind the starter...
DD311F
9M072...but the 2 could be a B or 3...but think 2
*C633030*

Any help would be greatly appreasiated !!

DD3 is a 545, 545A would start with DD4, The unit number is December 7th 1979, the 2 is a B for day shift. The "C" means US production. 545 were built from 1979 to 1983, 545A from 1984 to 1988, they skipped "B", and 545C were 1988 to 1992. The 11F on the back of the model number: 1: diesel vertical exhaust, 1: No PTO, F: 4 x 4 power reversing transmission with torque converter.
 

Thanks Ian...i had a feeling it was a 545 and not a 535A even though the deca on it says 545A.


Does anyone know if there was any general differences as far as reliability and opperational issues between the 545...545A.... is the A a much better Tractor or just the PTO option ??? Etc....
 
PTO was an option on either IF they were not torque converter transmission, only with 8 speed or with manual reverser.
