While at Red Power Roundup we talked to a guy selling tractor manuals, he of course didn't have any Ford manuals with him but he took my name and number and told me he had an owners manual for my 960. When he got back home,in WI, he called got my address and told me he would ship it to me. It got here today ,with a bill and a return envelope. Who does that nowdays?!? Found a "glowing" article about The Paper Farmer. The first link is plain text, but has a couple of photos that the 2nd link doesn't have. However, the 2nd link has all the same text and is easier to read. There is a phone number for Mr. Becker in the article.

I have bought MM parts from Welters Farm Supply. No computers, take your order over the phone, send the parts with a bill in the box. Once I needed a special domed nut (unusual thead) to hold the steering wheel (besides me), they sent the wrong nut the first time, I called and told them what I needed, they sent the correct nut with a note "Your lucky we had this", no bill for that one. Great people.

I had a similar experience with Korves Oliver. I called about a $1200 rebuild kit for my 1755. They said, yep we've got one - we'll mail it out with a bill - when you get it send us a check. Really good people

I had a similar experience with Titan Machinery in Pella Ia. Bought a few parts for an old Cub Cadet, it was even the first time I had done business there, and when the parts came in "We'll send you a bill".

yes, a good guy to deal with. Had a few manuals I needed and some I didn't. Called him up and we made a trade. Got mine sent out and he must not have waited for them because his arrived the next day.
