Sprayed last night, rain today

It was cool yesterday so I sprayed 24D last night, got done about 8:00, heavy rain moving in this morning, so it had about 12 hours to soak in. I really do not like it to rain for a couple of days after spraying, but bottle says 5 hours dry time.

You will be OK though I know the feeling of worrying about it being washed off. I sprayed some corn yesterday morn with a residual broadleaf herbicide and glyphosate. I’m plenty safe with the rain but I still worry about it.

David You will be fine. Actually better than hot and dry. The plant will not be under stress so it will take up the 2-4D better. Actively growing weeds are easier to kill than heat stressed plants.

You'll be fine. I walk terraces and fence lines with 2,4d, Roundup mix in a 2 gallon sprayer. Last year I got caught in a sudden downpour walking back. Anyway at best there was only 15 minutes drying time, so I rewalked it a couple days later and all the weeds were turned and starting to brown. Surprised the heck out of me thought it needed more dry time.

Sprayed the other day and the same thing rained like crazy the next couple days and I got a good kill on the weeds
