New Holland bail wagon 1000 I?m having a problem trying to unload the hay without it falling down like dominoes this is the only balewagon that doesn?t have the push arms to unload does someone have a trick that I can use to get the hay all in one stack and not have to stand and re-stack that?s getting old very quickly
 
Manual has tips for stacking . I have a 1010 with pushoffs , rarely use tho . I Normally single bale unload onto elevator.
 
Are you putting at least one or two tie tiers in your stacks? To make unloading the stack easier, get two lengths of quarter inch chain that will reach the full length of two stacks and either four hay hooks or you can make your own, and attach one to each end of the chain. Set the stack down and hook one hay hook into the lower front bale and run the chain along the stack to the back bale on the other stack. Put the second chain on the other side. This will hold the bottom bales together while you pull away from the bales.
 
I have a 1010 no push off feet. Once I get the load rack up ready to pull forward, I put a board, 2x4 usually. down low between the hay and rack. Tie it back to the posts in my pole barn I'm dumping in. And gently pull forward. The board drags the hay off the load rack forks. I also made some rods I use to poke into the bales up higher in the stack. I tie the rods back to help keep the stack from falling forward.
 
As was said,use 'tie tiers'. NewHolland offered/supplyed chains to use for unloading. Couple of 'dog chains' about 5 ft long with a hay hook on each end.sadly,most of those have been lost,or not transferred to the new owner when sold.
 
you need to make some pallets and then you dont need push off feet check out my youtube video on using pallets with a new holland balewagon and use the wire between the layers it works good
