Brake lining for my trailer

I wanted to replace the lining on my trailer axle. Both of the places that did it the past are closed, and don't do it anymore. I guess there just isn't enough demand for it. That's what I get with a braking system not made anymore. Time to look for different axles I guess. Stan

I have recently replaced two trailer axles on two different trailers. I was surprised how little the cost and I got new bearings and bushings so I don't need to worry about them either.

There is and easy way to do brakes on little trailers look up RED NECk trailer supply and what you do is get the whiole backing plate assy. , you get a new backing plate , new magnets new brake hardware and all you do is take out the for / five bolts holding the backing plate to the axle and file 13 the old assy. and bolt on the new and hook up tow wires. all done

I have done many axle and hub/brake replacement for very small to very large trailers. I went to the Red Neck trailer supply and find they sell just about everything but their prices compare high. Any place that sells trailers usually has all the parts or assenblies in stock at fair prices and your not going to pay thoses high shipping rates on heavy parts. I buy dexter parts and assemblies because they are good quality but they can be found most anywhere in U.S.A. which is great for haulers/travelers. Doesn't hurt to support your local business!!!
