Have the worst kind of electrical problem: intermittent. My JD 2750 tractor starts sometimes and not others. When one turns the key, the solenoid clicks and occasionally, the tractor starts. you can start it by shorting the posts on the solenoid, every time. Just to be sure, I have replaced the solenoid with one bought from YT since and it makes no differenc. In previous repairs I have replaced the starter switch and neutral safety switch (PO had bypassed it and the switch wires were ratty). The solenoid shows 12.7 v when the START switch is turned but does not fire. The NSS works (no voltage with starter key when in gear) everything else electrical is working, the same result: won't start (just clicks) most of the time and about every 10th try will start. Runs fine, alternator has been rebuilt and is charging.
Any ideas?
