Brooke to me on Monday after the Memorial Day Parade. We drove our old Supper 77 through and she rode with me and at the end of the day she came up to me and said dad I want my own tractor to drive through the parades with you. What do you say except you got it. Made my heart melt just like the day she was born. That's my buddy riding with us to

Well gee, now yer gonna have to pony up the money to get her a real tractor......IH 1586 or something similar.

Girls certainly can be great tractor drivers! My oldest daughter has her own Allis Chalmers B, and my middle daughter has a Massey Harris Pony. The youngest is only 3, but I?ll be watching for something for her in the next few years too :) My oldest is pretty good with tractors. She pulled me out twice a few weeks ago with our Allis Chalmers 170 when I got the Ford 3500 TLB hung up in a soft, shallow, ditch crossing.

I know how you feel I have 2 daughters that 8 and 10 and they both want or lay claims to different tractor I have. I'm afraid this won't last forever I'll do my best to keep them feeling this way as they grow up.

I sure hope you get her one that same color. Seems like a Super 55 would be right up her alley.

Nice that you share that interest. Probably a lot of life lessons wrapped up in a package called "tractor." Overcoming obstacles, dealing with setbacks, working through problems, and the exhilaration when everything goes right. Sounds like you two will have a lot of fun together.

(quoted from post at 18:52:30 05/31/18) She saw a Farmall B and really likes it

A little off topic, but I've always wanted to take a Farmall B, or an A, and make it left hand drive just for fun. It's neat that she wants her own tractor.

Just for giggles, see if you can track down an IH 300U or a 350U with power steering. They are a very handy and snug as a bug tractor. They were also VERY fast down the road! Five forward speeds. Many of them have TA units that give you 1/2 speeds that makes it 10 speeds forwards. I love mine.

Nice looking tractor. She wants to be like dad. You must be doing something right. Farmall B is a fun tractor. I kinda want a C. Keep it up.

Happened to me also, friend helped me paint a farmall C pink for her sixth birthday a couple years ago. Picture is from the threshing bee last Labor Day
