I've had this 58 TO35 for about 2 weeks. It has its quirks, one of which I've posted about, but it starts right up every time and runs well. I had to start with the positive. Now to my question. I changed the engine oil recently and found a significant amount of what looked like flakes of metal in the old oil. I changed it and just drained it again after about 3 hrs work. There were more metal flakes and the oil felt gritty. There are no strange sounds, oil pressure is good, and it runs smooth. Are things breaking off my engine or could this be something related to sitting for years or anything else not terrible? Hopefully the photos worked. Thank you for taking the time to look and respond.
