if it runs and works, and will do what you need it to do, doesn't sound like a bad deal.

The serial number on the plate should read 401. Diesel General purpose tractor. But it does look original to the tractor?? Make sure and check the oil. Those psb boesch injector pumps can have bad seal that puts fuel into the crank case. The 400 series tractors are very good tractors with beauty and style. gobble

It is NOT a 401. It has non adjustable rear wheels and a fixed front axle, making it a "400" as the sn# says.
