TO 30 water in oil water spots near middle pistons

I have a Z 129 340670 continental engine on a TO 30, I replaced the o rings on the sleeves, that stopped that leak into the oil.
I run the engine awhile and there is water in the oil, the compression also is not steady. I remove the valve cover and see spots
of water between the middle pistons, replace the head gasket and same thing.
Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated

When the piston sleeves were out, was the sealing and seating surface cleaned thoroughly?

The spec calls for the top of the sleeve to be .002 to .0045 above the block surface. If any are standing higher, the head gasket will not seal. May want to have the head checked for cracks. If it was torqued down on uneven sleeves, or has ever been overheated, it could be warped or cracked.

Did you retorque the head bolts after the first start up? Might try another retorque if the head is still on. Is the thermostat in and working, getting it up to temperature?

There is also a history of block cracking on those, up between the sleeve bores in the block web.

As Steve has said and also you may have a cracked head which will do the same thing. As for the sleeves they need to stick up enough that you can catch a finger nail on them or the head cannot push them down tight into the block and make the O-rings do there job. Also did you retorque the head after you had fired it up and got it warmed up??
