Tire size for Massey 124 baler

Someone posted on a post I had a week or so ago (can't find it now) wanting to know the size of tires on a Massey 124 baler. I finally got time to get back on here and have the proper size from the 124 specs. Left side 9.5LX14 6 ply and right side 9.50X15 4 ply. I have no idea what the L means but I'll bet someone on here can tell you. Sorry it has taken so long to post this & I don't remember who was wanting to know but we've been trying to get some hay put up and get ready for a grand daughters wedding this coming Friday. Keith

L is for low profile, the sidewalls are shorter than would be normal for that tread width. Like on car tires you can have 245 width with 85, 70, 55 etc percentage sidewall. They are numerical percentage of the carcass width. Next time in the tire store look at an 11L, and a 11.00.
