DeWalt hand tools

Does anyone have experience with DeWalt hand tools? Are they any good. I lost a lot of stuff in the fires and can't swing high end replacements all at once.

I have quite a number of DeWalt power tools ranging from an 18V drill and impact driver to a half-inch impact driver and am very satisfied with them.

I've used DeWalt for years and seen many tradesman use them as well. I believe they are comparable to Millwaukee, Makita, Bosch and the likes in most instances.

I consider Dewalt high end in cordless tools. I?ve had good service from Ryobi cordless if ya get the newer type batteries. 18 volt. The old style batteries weren?t very long lasting. Ryobi corded tools have done well for me too.

jim i always bought craftsman.. but was needing a kit for my f250 to put under the back seat saw a dewalt rather large kit.. LOVE IT.. wrenches feel nice when using... 1/4 and 3/8 and 1/2 drivers have a nice smooth ratchet.. Highly recommend...

I have a full range of 18 volt DeWalt tools, and I haven't bought a battery in ten years or so. Very happy with them. I also have several DeWalt corded tools which are also very good. My only complaint is that DeWalt can't seem to put a decent electrical cord on their tools. They all begin cracking and splitting after two or three years.
