Grain Drill

Does anyone know where is a good place to set my opening gauge
on a Minneapolis Moline P3-6 grain drill. I just bought it and am going
to plant Timothy, alfalfa, and red clover. Thanks

Here are some pictures scanned from an original operators manual there is also charts for the 7" and 8" spacing along with fertilizer attachment there is mention of a grass seed attachment but no chart for that I can send if needed but I assume this is what you are looking for I have some of the operating pages plus the 6" chart it seems there is a high and low gear speed for the shaft you will have to check mentioned in these pages. I have my email open if the pictures are not clear I can send them directly to you and they get cleared or at least have in the past when done this way. I have not personally used a drill like this but my dad's uncle did and the drill is still setting on the farm place where he lived, that's where the manual came from but hope these pics help
