I'm trying to find some German DIN hydraulic fittings to repair a hydraulic cylinder on a Vicon discbine. Don't have a big enough barn so everything's parked in tight. Had a little boo-boo getting the plow out, caught the hydraulic line and snapped this fitting off.

I think they're M18 fittings, one end being a male "DIN 3852 type B" and the other end being a female "cone" style fitting.

Local hydraulic shops don't carry anything like it.

Only a thought, but have you checked Monroe Tractor in Adams Center? They carry Claas stuff which might have similar fittings, being also heavily German in origin.

Parts guy can't find anything without a make and a model. I just need a place that sells fittings, like surpluscenter, but one that carries the DIN fittings. Surpluscenter doesn't.

Just a surgestion but can you change the hose to JIC ends so if it goes again you
could get fixed up locally. Been involved with Manitou handlers for 36 years and
allthrough they are built in France with all metric fitting hydraulics all the rams
on the machines had BSP threads. MJ

google "tubes 'n hoses", nationwide franchise of hydraulic hose and tubing repair. There may be one near you. ANY competent hydraulic shop should be able to order in some fittings as Gates, Weatherhead, and Parker all make hose ends in ISO and DIN metric as well as BPP.

These are the people you need to call. They are in Dallas but stock almost everything.
