First hay of the season

Had some hay making weather here recently.Unusual around here this time of year.(Southwest Washington).Thought I would share a few pictures.

what kind of rake do you call that thing hooked to the International? Never saw one like that.

It is a haybob. Tedds and rakes. I use one too.
Mostly made by PZ sold under many different brand names,PZ, Kuhn, Hesston, etc.
Common in Europe, fairly rare in the USA.

Lot of those rakes out here where pms and I live. Almost everyone who puts up a lot of hay uses one.

Glad to know that, maybe I can find haybob parts in the USA cheaper than having them shipped over from England.

I find it interesting how some farm equipment is so regional in usage. I have an OMC roll baler that is really rare in Kentucky but apparently quite common in Wisconsin and Minnesota (at least they were years ago) they are getting pretty ancient now.
