What size implement tire?

I guess it depends on your clearance or how much float you want. Are you trying to match the other tire? I dont know the sizes but if you want a good tire for an implement those Transforce tires are tough. I always put a tube in something thats not driven all the time so they dont go flat while sitting.

Just a thought do you use it much? Some
around here are getting steel wheels from
the amish works great on an elevator you
don't use much and don't have far to travel
also feed bunks etc . Works nice if you want
to use something occasionally and don't want
to fix a tire first i know one guy put them
on a disc

Yes, the 6.70x15 or maybe a 7.00x15, especially if it's in close quarters to something that it could rub on. For instance, like on IH #37 or 370 disc lifting frame I used a 215/70/14 tires and it's real close to the lift frame. Anything wider would rub.

Gauge wheels on a 3pt chisel plow is what they're for.

Problem is it's getting tough to find narrow 15" tires anymore. Everything made in the last 20 years has wide low profile tires in 16" or larger diameters.

Any reputable tire dealer who handles ag tires can get the 6.70-15 tires for you.

215 mm divides out to 8.47 in so you could probably handle 7.50 width wise, but implement tires have taller sidewalls so O.D. will different.

+1 Tried a set of 235/75/15's on 6 inch 4 bolt rims on my 14' IH37 disc and they rubbed. Had to go back to the 205/75/15 trailer tires on 4.25 inch rims that was on it. the 235's went on my AC 1200 FC instead as an upgrade. I wish the wheel companies made 4 bolt implement rims for 16" tires...they do make some 6 bolt for 17" tires knowing that they are a common truck tire size to allow used tires on them. Mike
