PTO plastic guards

Worst part of replacing mine was finding a new set.

Got the out of California. Cheap and work as they should.

Many years ago. In the collar they are locked on with a goofy looking plastic finger that goes into a curved slot. That is the hardest thing to remove. A couple of tiny screw drivers and dental picks also required. Lots of patients too. That was 40 years ago. Can remember one machine had giant snap rings.

I took mine off and got rid of them. It's too difficult to lubricate the shaft covered with plastic. The pto is never engaged unless I'm sitting in the tractor seat so I don't see the need.
