Kind of a big tractor to be an orchard tractor but I know nothing about orchards tho. It looks like the branches could sneak around that screen and slap you upside the head pretty easy.
 
I would guess the rear fender extensions were added to keep fine dirt and dust from hitting the operator when it was dry with a cross wind. My uncle added Case L fenders to his L. Put a right fender on the left side and a left on the right with bolts so the wheel was about 1/2 concealed and no dirt down the neck. :)
 
Lots of ordinary tractors were converted for Orchard use by someone other than the manufacturer. There was a company, a dealer I think, called "Boozer" (or something like that) in Florida that converted several Minneapolis Molines. I have one of their ZAs.

Guess I'm going to have to break something on a tractor around here.... to get my husband to take me to a junkyard for parts. LOL!
