Not for me, but a long time neighbor and friend farmedwith an Oliver1750. He hasnsince passed but his son is trying to use the old Oliver after many years in storage and repair due to a transmission issue. Where do you check the oil level in the trans/rear axle? Where do you fill it? Is this the same as a 1755? Sorry to ask such basic questions, but son is not mechanical. It was a reliable old work horse for my friend for many years.
 
There's a half inch pipe plug just to the right of the PTO shaft. Take that out to check the oil level in the trans and rear end. You can fill it through the one inch plug in the top of that same unit.

They're not the same as a 1755. The 1755 has an externally mounted closed center hydraulic pump and hydraulic actuated brakes.
