I'm telling you more than I know,so it's just speculation. He started some political stuff about three weeks ago. Next morning,I couldn't post. It just said Posting Disabled when I tried. I emailed the moderator to see if I was banned. Chris wrote me back and said there was an incident the day before and that my handle or ISP must have been blocked collaterally. I took it to mean that somebody must have gotten the boot and that I was blocked by mistake in the fallout.

I might be completely wrong in assuming he was booted for the firestorm he started,I don't know. Things have been almost completely void of controversy on here every since,so I figured everybody got the message.

The very few 'rules' for this site are quite simple and reasonable, in my estimation. I would not think it surprising if anyone who repeatedly and unsubtly breaks them is blocked from continuing to post on this site. I am grateful to the YT hosts for letting all of us on here to discuss a lot of things, the site and the helpful people who post here have been a big help to me with things over the years, and I hope I may have been able to help other people a few times too.

Some of us have been here long enough to have seen this happen time again by somebody who's been banned or has left with their nnalert in a bunch. You're fairly new here and probably haven't seen it before,but trust me,it happens more than you think.

Let's just be careful what we're saying on this post. If he was banned,it was for constantly starting trouble among the members. Let's not fall for it again,just saying.

I personally think anything political has absolutely no bussiness on a page like this it just ruins it . There was an absolutely wonderful page on Facebook the rules were no sales and no brand bashing it was great until people started crying they have the right to free speech and the page owner finally shut the page down becuse people just refused to follow the rules . I have done my best not to try and reply to any political post but I still got sucked In .

I couldn't agree more. I don't post the stuff,but I don't have the sense to stay out of it when it starts either. Luckily,I was so burned out on the endless stuff that had been posted up until then,that I didn't even participate in the last thing that he posted.

Like I said in my first reply to this post,things have been mostly void of controversy since he's been gone. It's been like a warm spring day after a long hard winter since he's been gone.

Usually, if someone is banned, it shows up on their username. However, I don't know if it is like that on this site. It shows he still an active member. I have noticed a couple of other folks MIA as well, not that its a bad thing.

rrlund hit the nail on the head, this isn?t a new thing and if you?re on here long enough, you will indeed see it happen on occasion. I personally don?t care who the poster is, I just made an observation that it was an odd way to start off on a forum by asking about the online status of another member.

Grizz, he is reporting someone breaking rules laid out by the owners of the site. I consider myself a guest in YT’s “home”. Their rule is no hate speech and no politics. A rule in my home is no smoking. You can bet your butt if you light up in my home, you and your cancer stick will be removed.

Now I realize I’m throwing stones in a glass house because I do respond to some political posts, but I don’t think I’ve tried to start one in a while. Big tee was always throwing out political stuff. Trying to sneak it in, and then saying “aww shucks, didn’t mean anything by it” when it got removed. The one about “the old lady” got super nasty super fast. If he got thrown out, he surely deserved it.

The fellas at YT obviously work very hard to keep these forums from becoming a bunch of garbage you’d be ashamed to let your parents or children read. They have a high level of tolerance and seem to give posters a long leash before removing them. If you don’t like how they run the place, perhaps you should build your own forums and leave them unmoderated. See how long it takes the place to become a trash heap.
