This is a post that I have not wanted to post and have held back for a long time hoping things would improve but unfortunately they have only gotten worse. I’m not going to go into details, but am going to simply ask what has your expirence been with Bob Clark’s Sheetmetal reproduction business? Just to give enough background as to what I am referring to ... I have had three projects that I sent to him over a year ago and was promised results last summer and have seen nothing as of now and he won’t even hardly answer my phone calls, and definitely will not call me when he says he will. And he has all my money upfront to. Please help with any advice as to your expirence you could give. Thank you!

Not exactly what you are asking but he
advertises all the time over on the
smokstak and if there was a common problem
of that manner the boys over there would be
all over him. His reputation is very good,
all that doesn't mean a whole lot I guess?
Friend bought some pieces from him a few
years ago and the deal was straight

I had a bad experience with him and he wont ever get my business again
bought two sets of F20 fenders with brackets at RPRU and paid in full at the show. Told me it would be a couple months and I would see them. after numerous phone calls, messages and emails I finally got my stuff almost 3 months AFTER the original deadline. once I got my fenders the sheetmetal looked like crap but the irons were good. some of the fenders didn't even have the same radius rolled in them. terrible work for someone who advertises as a sheetmetal shop........

Over 18 months ago I sent my Tractor to Bob Clark. This tractor belonged to my Wife's grandfather who was a farmer in CA. since the 1930. This tractor has been in her family since the late 1940's. It is a tractor that has so much family memories. It is very important to my family especially my mother in law who's father this belonged to. Below are a list of facts.:
1. I was told it would take 1 year for a total restoration. Its been over 18 month, and no tractor. Not even a photo.
2. In 2018 there has been no communication with Bob after email and phone call.
3. In 2017 Emails and calls have been very few. Just broken promises.
4. I've asked for photos, updates, and never have receive 1 photo.
5. I've paid 90 percent upfront in cash.
6. I'm out cash, I'm without a tractor, I'm out of excuses to tell my family. I"m disappointed and as of today I've been taken by Bob, and his lack to delivery a promise. If anyone out there is a friend of his please tell him to call me, and get me any updates on when I will get my tractor back to my family.
