I got the tractors home that I bought at Saturday's consignment auction. the Power Major has only about 300 hours on a rebuilt engine. the BN will make a good parade tractor, especially when I get the extra seat installed so my wife can ride with me. both tractors run like champs.

Is the BN wide enough for a second seat? The N means "narrow" if I remember correctly, but I don't know how much narrower compared to a "regular" B.

I have seen them with 2 seats at redpower roundups.
from measuring, there is 18 3/8" for the seat side, between the fender and the trans case. there is 18" on the open side. i'm sure there will be enough wiggle room at the top of the seat brackets to make it work.
on a regular B, there is a space (maybe 4"?) between the fender and the seat.

Yes it is. I believe it is 6 inches narrower. On mine, I put a floor board and seat from a second BN on the left.
I had to drill some new holes in the floor board to match the already existing threaded holes in the tractor.
The second original seat was a direct bolt on as I recall.

Yes, lift lever for the front cultivators. I still have the cultivators and
thought maybe I'd use them in my garden so I didn't take the lever off.
That was four or five years ago, haven't used them yet.
