Fly's on cows

What do you guys do about fly's on cows?
With 80 degrees for the past few days I've
seen them on the cows a lot and they're
starting to look kinda chewed up.

Take a look at latest issue of Successful Farming there was an article about a thing built to walk cows through that non chemically knocked off flys then collected them. It was homemade and they walked cows through it when switching pastures with apparent success.

We've have been using flys that we get from Spladding Lab /called them killer fly you can goggle W e get three batches though out the summer.

We used that stuff that comes in a can.little yellow granuals. Shake them around on the floor. Twenty minutes there isn't a fly in sight. You walk along and the floor crunches.

That's actually an old design what it does it creates a tunnel the cows walk through the flies get wiped off going out one end and then there is a small hole on the side in the middle where light comes in the flies go for the hole and after time spiders move in

(quoted from post at 03:21:46 05/04/18) Beef cows got a cattle rub, dairy cows get a mist of diesel fuel sprayed on them once a day!
I've heard the diesel mist works good. The rub bag works well too.
