Water in Tubed Tires?

sorry if this has been asked, I did look for a post. Can I add water/antifreeze to my rear tires if they have tubes? IF so, any special precautions?

Thanks,
an obvious tractor newbie

Just make sure if you live in an area where it freezes in winter that you have enough antifreeze in the tires so they won't form ice. Ice will cut the tubes. If you can't find used anti freeze then you can do what a lot of us including my Kubota dealer do and put winter windshield washer fluid in them. A lot cheaper than new anti freeze

Been doing it for 10's of years with antifreeze, like 6 gallons in a 55 gallon barrel filled on up with water for here in N. Tx.

Washer fluid in this. Bought a 55 gallon drum and added water to make up the volume. No problems in SE MI.
