Good day to burn spider webs

My living room has open rough cut beams. The spiders webs collect dust, and are very unsightly. I can't brush them, they just smear, and make a worse mess. I take my small propane torch, and run the flam across the beam. The webs burn up, or fall down to be vacuumed up. I should be out mowing, but the rain this time of year is very rare here in S California. Stan

We got what is our share of your rain here in Flagstaff, AZ last night. Now what you are sending this way has turned to snow. Headed to my place in CO in the morning so I will be following the storm.

I use a long tube on the vacuum cleaner. That smear sounds interesting. Do you mean like soot? Heard that is from wood stoves or candles. My spider webs get dirty from my kerosene lamps if they are not trimmed correctly. Even worse is if there are some in the kitchen. You always get some grease in the air. Those I deffinetly use the vacuum. Ahhh life in the fast lane.

Bmack, do you go through/near Cortez/Dolores enroute to CO? That's where I call home. I pass through Flag on my way to visit relatives in Phx.
