electric manlift question

manlift is towable with any tractor, question is the deep cycle batteries do not keep their specific gravity in the normal range even after the on board charger says they are fully charged, is there a trick to making the 20 amp charger keep the batteries properly charged? Thanks

First thought is you have one or more bad batteries.

Take off the jumper wires, charge individually and test to confirm.

Unlikely a charger problem but being that you will have to use a different charger to charge them individually you will learn the answer.

Not cheap but best to replace all at the same time.

Well I didnt mention that I have done just that, charged each individually and got the SG
up to the recommended value in all cells thanks
