Hello I was wondering if there's someone who could help me figure this out I recently purchased a white 2 -105 and it has a newer hydraulic pump on it only problem is that where the steel line is supposes to go right in the middle of it there is no hole going into the pump for this line to go into so they just put a plug in the end of the line i was wondering if anyone knows what this line is for everything seems to work ok other then sometimes when you use the remotes or raise your three-point pump grinds like it's running out of fluid then it stops it comes and goes cold or hot was wondering if that line not being hooked up has something to do with it. I put a new pump on my 2-85 last year and it has the hole for the line to go into tho the pump on the 2-105 looks biger. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

1755 thru 1-150 and early 85 & 105's had a Vickers PVB15 pump, Late 85-105's had the PVE19 pump. Both were rated as 15 GPM as they changed the gear drive to slow the PVE19 pump down. If you are using UTF for hydraulic oil, and are running the larger pump without gearing changes the pump is probably cavitating. The filter system was made by Gressen. They have a 150 mesh screen that you can substitute for the paper filter. It is not as fine a micron rating as the paper filter, but is within the micron specs (barely) of the pumps. Also if the compensator valve is not set correctly the pump can fight itself. Here is a link to the parts page http://www.agcopartsbooks.com/PartsBooksN/Viewer/book.aspx?book=agco/43322000 , I'm assuming you are reffering to items 22 and 29. Those are the case drain, and you do need to get it hooked up. Do you hear a "klunk" from the pump area on startup? That is the compensator stroking the pump. I don't have a 2-105 hydraulic system manual any more to get you the settings.

No clock that I can hear on Startup. Im going to try and put that mesh filter in like you said and see if that makes a difference. I looked on that parts page you sent me and #29 is hooked up allready but 22 is not pump has no where to hook it too

Call Amdynic Fluid Power in New Baltimore MI 586-949-6860, they are the Gressen dealer I used to deal with and they stock that screen. Or Google Gressen (may be part of Parker now). The part number for the screen is K25001. The #22 and #29 were for the two different pumps. Get the numbers off the tag and Google your nearest Vickers pump dealer and see if the can fix you up. Might even be somebody on here who sells Vickers.
