While rrlund's pastures may not turn green (neighbors hay field in back ground), my grass sure does. If we get the 60's they predict for this weekend, I'll be cutting grass next week and enjoying it.

Still brown as a berry up here in the middle of the state. Had a skim of snow on the ground this morning. I don't know how RayP's coming along on his,but it's gonna be a while before I even plant oats. The ground has about an inch of frost most every morning.
 
A week ago about five percent of my alfalfa was showing green leaves though I had to stop and look down in the stubble to see it. As soon as this grumpy weather lets go and it warms up that alfalfa will be jumping up.
 
We had temps today in the 70s beautiful day has been cold and chilly, come home to a weather alert,,,,, winter storm watch, could get anywhere from 3-12 inches, we are right on the line, one side 3-6 inches, other side 6-12 inches, guess winter still here!!!!! Friday night thru Saturday night, joy for joy!!!!!!!
