I was going through old e-mails and re=found the address for the following web site. If you like old cars and trucks you might like the quiz section, that is how I found it, a buddy forwarded the link to the quiz. The web site is www.americantorque.com (type it in do not click). On the header bar will be a "games" tab.

(quoted from post at 20:25:49 04/06/18) Cool!

A high school mate had one of these. Only one I ever saw.

When my daughter was in H.S. in the early 80s, her then boyfriend had a nice little Firebird with that engine.....don't know as it was a particularly great engine but I sure liked the looks of it.

The OHC 6 Pontiac is where my handle comes from. I owned a 67 LeMans Sprint 6. 230 OHC with a factory Quadrajet and factory split exhaust manifold.

I was a devoted Pontiac guy from '63 on . Restored my dream car, '66 GTO tri power 4 spd, posi and had it for 20 yrs. Back in '69, tho, my HS senior year, my buddy bought a '66 Le Mans Sprint with the 207 hp OHC 6 and 4 spd. You talk about a fast little 6 banger ! Over at the strip they paired him with a '69 Camaro with a 307 and he beat it. Think it turned low 16,s at around 85 mph, Really a neat car. His was 3 yrs old at the time he bought it but bet with some dist curve tuning and little tweaking of the quadrajet, he'd have been in mid 15,s.

Guy I knew in Californicate said they did some drivetrain swaps into Jaguars with them.Gained some HP,lightened the front end and gained a synchro 1st gear.Win,win, win
