Trying to pull and over under out of a 145 and having a hard time. Anyone do this before? Any help would be appreciated.
 
Correction on that. I don't think you pull the shaft out of those,I think you need to put a set screw in a plug to keep the shaft from sliding ahead with the O/U.
 
I have the engine and clutch housing removed. How is the over under fastened to frame or rear housing? The over under is junk and going to install a reman.
 
If it's like the 2-135,it isn't fastened at all. There's just an O-ring in the trunion coupling. Pop it loose and slide it forward. I made a pin to hold the coupler from sliding forward with it,but most tell me they don't even use one.
