Tractor on new land

I finally got the tractor down to the new acerage, it's been a wet year.

We have about 10 acres of thorn bushes and saplings to reclaim back to pasture and about 6 acres of pasture that hasn't been mowed in a couple years. The new to me JD 606 works great. I clean a lot of the rust off and patched a couple thin spots on the deck.

And lots of fence line that's hasn't been cut back in at least ten years will give me and the kids something to do together.

A poll barn is in the near future but for now the tractor is parked outside when it's down there.

You should leave the tarp off. The tarp, when moved by a breeze will wear paint off a whole lot faster than rain and sun will.

Good eye

The Clevis is still there, it's just hard to see in the uploaded picture. I don't have another good picture that shows it.

Yes, the braces are bent a bit and I didn't try and straighten them because I figured it would just make them weaker. I adjust the top link out a little and all works fine. One of the PO must have gone in a dip and had the top link out a bit much, or just backed into it with something.

The rest of the mower seems real solid. I did weld up the front skids a little they were getting thin.

I did not know that, thank you. I have a small tear in the seat and didn't want it to spunge up and tear more so I just figured I'd tarp it a little. Maybe I will just put a garbage bad over seat.

Thanks
