I rarely see little Cletracs in fairly original condition this cheap. Northern Michigan. I am temped to buy it but do NOT need any more
projects. Looks like a late Oliver HG or an OC3. Fun and useful little machines.

What do you want to bet that Jessica has a JD 50 listed as well. And if you could see the house there is probably a pile of men's clothing just outside the door.

If you want a dozer to use I would leave it there. If you want a yard ornament or a restoration project Other than the tracks being worn out shouldn't take too much to restore. Unless that has the auxiliary transmission it's not geared to push much.

If it was anywhere near me I would buy it. I still think sadly of the one I sold 50 years ago. As I recall reading this my ex wife made me sell it.

I love mine. I have done a lot of work with it and it is great to get into tight spots. Aux trans is what I regard as a must for pushing hard - and mine has one from a Ford Model A car.

The tracks look OK from here, lots of adjustment left. Mine had no aux. Transmission, I found no problem dozing with it, cutting raking hay, spooling barbed wire, my ATV before ATVs. A little light for pulling baler in hills.

"Engine seems to be getting weak" is code for "engine completely shot". That, combined with worn tracks, and its not such a bargain any more.

Good looking machine for the price. I sold my OC3 Crawler/Loader with the Aux Trans and picked up a Kubota. Those grousers look ok for a crawler/loader but not much traction for a dozer. That looks like a lot of blade for a 20hp machine. I'd buy it if I were closer.

"Weak" could mean just about anything. Mine was "weak" when I got it and all it needed was a valve-job and new points and condensor. A good repairable Hercules IXB-3 engine is not an easy item to find. That machine is well worth $1000 to me -even if just for parts. Looks too good for that though. I just don't want any more projects and already have a good HG with an aux trans and a 6-way blade.

Makes sense that it sold fast. Equipment like that here in northern Michigan tends to sell for a lot higher. $1000 was a bargain for a fairly original late-model HG or OC3.

It was 70 miles from me. I figured it would likely sell before I ever got to look at it.

I paid $700 for one of mine 15 years ago and in MUCH worse shape.
