I had bought some used equipment.

This past weekend I had bought some used equipment. I needed a drag bucket and a square box back blade it think that is what it is. I have 3.16 acres to maintain and I do have a John Deere model G to use. the price was right for these two attachments so I plan to put these to work. At least I hope to. Right now I have been using a little Farmall cub tractor with a front blade and yes I had burned up the clutch on it just trying to move dirt around. Hope the John Deere G will work with what I bought to move dirt around.

The G will play with the implements!! You might find value in a small 6 to 8 foot field cultivator to shallow rip the soil before trying to use the scrapers. Broken up soil really moves easily. Jim
 
The pull type one you can load up and it will tilt back to carry the dirt where you want it. Sort of like a dead pan scraper.
 
We put the fenders on so my dads grand kids would not fall on to the wheels when riding with Grand pa. after my da past way last year I paid off my older brothers and sisters and kept the tractor. My da had bought it in Kansas City, Missouri back in 1999 and had it trucked to bishop Ca. Yes I had the big heavy duty wide front put on it because he lived up in the mountains and it made the tractor more stable to handle. A John Deere G I really had to keep even thou I paid a lot of money for it I still have it.
 
I just do not know how to say this to you but the tractor is not for sale. I had to pay off my older brothers and older sister for it. Which means I might had paid to much for it but it was my dads pride and joy. When my parents past on they wanted to sell it but I paid bought them all out on it.
