Shop built header cart for the Oliver 13 ft. non quick attach head. Combine paint was still shiny enough to reflect the model number.

Cutting beans without a cab makes my lungs hurt just thinking about it. Not to mention how many soybeans bounce off the cab glass that would be your face without a cab. My first combine did not have a cab but I only did corn with it untill we installed a used cab. Neat pic thanks for posting. Tom

Amen! I used to end up looking like the Michelin man with all the fuzz off the beans. I used to wear my painting mask to keep from breathing it in.

They probably still called it a quick attach! I thought my IH 715 was bad. On that Oliver it appears that you can't even see where the feeder house mates to the combine if you're on the seat. We had a Gleaner A with no cab, well it had a plywood home made cab on it. I removed it because the window frames interfered with your vision, the plexiglass wasn't real transparent, and if you were doing wheat, you'd die from the heat. My dad would look like an African American after a few hours in the wheat field - but we enjoyed the great outdoors.
