Oil on plug

I started up the 66 finaly. It started right up but had a broke plug. I put new ones in today and found #2 was oil soaked . Now I have to decide if I want to fix it or run it. It's not a working tractor. I will probably try to see what's causing it.

I had a Ferguson several years ago that I bought. It ran ok but it smoked and wouldn't start after it got warmed up. I determined that the previous owner hadn't changed oil in it for a long time. I changed oil a couple of times in a few week period and that tractor started running almost perfect with no smoke, even started like it should.

On your tractor it looks like the oil filter has been on there forever, maybe the oil needs changing.

Thanks bumblebee. I changed the oil. Got a new filter coming. Previous owner said it smoked but your right. That filter looks old. Figure I will put some atf in it and run it. Maybe it will clean up. I only ran it for a few minutes so I'm guessing it came up past the rings. Probably check it out when it suits raining but doubt I will fix it for awhile.

Well I don't know if it's the original oil filter but it is pretty old.
