In block crankshaft grinder from below

The problem with this one is the same as several others I have seen for sale over the years. They are not complete. The portion that connects to the crankshaft pulley with a belt to rotate the crankshaft while grinding a rod journal is not there.

The only time I saw one in use was about 1959 and it seems they turned the crank from the starter ring gear. I can't remember for sure.

I had an International L 150 mess up a throw and I had a machine shop come to my place and grind it in the truck. Do not rember a lot other than the crank was rotated with a belt off of the front pulley. It was quite a job getting it all set up, but better than pulling the engine.
Ran the " old Binder" for several more years , no trouble.
