Reasons that my skid steer plate hasn't been delivered. It's a 120lb skid steer plate. It probably fell through a crack. Note the various reasons given, none of which are true except the last.

Fedx is no better. They blame my delay on weather which is probably true with all that east coast storming but parts shipped out of Kansas last Tuesday, maybe I?ll get Monday.

We have no problems at all with UPS or with FedEx Express, but the FedEx Ground folks here are slow as molasses. They give the reason of weather, even when there is no bad weather between Grand Forks and here.

Must be something about skidsteer plates. I ordered one From MS, I believe, and FEDEX completely lost it somewhere in IL. For crying out loud it was 95 pounds and a large piece. How do you loose such an item? Supplier sent another.

If the shipping label comes off, they don't know where to send it to. One would "think" in this smart-world we live in that they would keep track of packages in and out of every location and truck, and they probably do. But it's likely a lot easier to just wash their hands of the problem and let the seller and buyer deal with it.

Word is out that Fedex and UPS are undergoing a merger. New company will be called FEDUP......

Had a package come open in UPS shipping.

They delivered an empty box.

I went to the customer service counter, talked to the lady there that almost always handled my shipping. Told her what happened, asked if anything had come back loose in a truck from that route.

She said no way to ever know. Everything undeliverable is considered "corporate overage" (whatever that means). It all goes in a big container and is shipped to Utah monthly. Once there it is held for a period of time. If anyone can describe their item sufficiently, they will forward it, but looking at 4-6 months to even get an answer.

And no, I could not go look in the box!

Just had to start over, consider it gone.

Last year I replaced the batteries on my golf cart. I ordered all new tie down (J) rods. The box came with a hole in the corner and no rods. Called the shipper and was told that UPS would stop and pick up the box for the records. Next day same driver stopped again, he had the rest of my order. I asked him if he was to pick up the box, said he did not know about it. Anyway I showed him the box and explained what was missing. Driver went to his truck and produced the missing rods. The seller also resent the rods so I had some extra ones. I did call them back to see if they wanted them back was told to keep them as return cost would have been too much. stuff happens

O.K.

Now, Has anyone ever received a box and it had something totally different in it from what was ordered?

Back when I worked in a warehouse where we sold strictly printed paper goods, I received a box of labels that had obviously been torn open and had a few electrical conduit connectors added to it and taped back up.

A few years later at the lawn mower shop, we received some sort of accessory for a Toro lawnmower and again the box had been damaged and it had the air cleaner top from about a 1970 General Motors car in the package with it.
