Cheap 12v fans

Got 2 cheap 12v fans for the cab of the combine off Amazon . They must not have tested them at the factory,neither one worked till I took the grill off and spun it by hand over and over with it turned on and now they both work fine. I don't think the grease was worked into the bearings. They both start and run fine now but we'll see in August I guess. It's not really worth fixing the air for only 2-3 days cutting a year and it no fun getting covered in dust with the window and door open.

My combine has a by- cool evaporative cooler and the factory fan in the cab they don?t blow cold air but it beats having the doors open eating dust

Surplus center has a couple of 12v fans. You could check them out if the ones from Amazon die.

It would be interesting to know what fans you got from Amazon. Must be a part number on the invoice?

Put one of those gallon jugs up in the a.c. plenum....full of frozen water. Helps cool the air a bit.
