I'm still plugging along on on my skid steer project. I'm putting seal kits in all the cylinders while it's apart. The lift cylinders do not have bushings in the ends and the bottoms were pretty worn. I figured I might as well do something about it while they were off and apart.
I didn't have any tube, so I started with 2" solid. Drilled it close and bored it to 1.25". Then I just cut the old ones off and welded the new ones on. The round stock was a freebie from a friend of mine, so I really only have some time in this fix.
I thought about setting the new ones up to take a bushing, but I figured the originals lasted a bazillion hours so I doubt I will ever wear them out again.
