Show pics, Bastrop TX

This is usually a small show but always seems to bring in some interesting tractors and other things. The line braiding machine was fascinating to watch work. The bobbins rotated and weaved around and thru on the gear driven table to braid the line. The "whatizit" drew attention too. And after all the cloudy dreary weather we've had it was a nice day until we started loading to leave.

Nice pics John!

We have a winter storm moving in so the weather here is pretty miserable (just windy and cloudy, so far), so your pics sure brightened things up. Thanks for posting!

What is the story on all the tractor seats on the trailer? I wish I had known about that, as I live about 40 miles south of Bastrop.

Thank you for the pictures!!! I really like seeing implements with tractors. That lister bedder on the Oliver is neat.

I hate seeing a tractor that was made mainly, to cultivate with being shown without the cultivators or other implements. An AC "G" was made to cultivate with not plow the south forty. LOL The guys with Oliver 44 or 440 are the same way. You see the tractors but never see the cultivators. Lot of the fellows do not have the cultivators. So they are more rare than the tractor. I like seeing all the little brackets and widgets that the different implements required.

I live in Elgin and what I know the man that owned Lanford Equipment and put that trailer together and takes it to shows.

Nice Pics.

OT: How is Bastrop recovering from the fires a couple of years ago, thereabouts? I lived in Austin for several years, daughter still does.

I am pretty sure that those seats are a collection not a display for sale. I never say anything but when I see a local seat display I always wonder if one of the cast-iron ones is off the horse drawn mower that sits by one of my fields.
