Fuel filler hose for flatbed pickup

We installed a flatbed on the 1996 F250 (gas). Problem is the fuel filler lines are two short to reach to the edge of the flatbed. Does anyone know of a source that sells longer fuel filler hoses for Ford PUs?
 
When I put flat beds on both of my pickups I cut the filler hoses and used proper sized exhaust tubing and hose clamps to extend them. You must be careful not to use hose that is not resistant to today's fuel. HTH
 
my napa sells large fuel line also if you have a boat shop near they also handle large fuel line good luck
 
If they are molded hoses, going to be hard to find, and may be expensive.

Any way to cut and splice in some steel tubing?

You might find some straight hose at a good auto supply, or a supply that deals with truck parts.

Getting fuel to flow to the tank on a flatbed can be challenging, not enough drop to get a good flow. You'll want to keep the inlet as high as possible, through the side of the bed instead of under.
 
I used exhaust pipe clamped in to the hoses on mine,but they laid so flat that they didn't work. I had to use a plasma cutter to cut a hole in the bed,welded a hinge to it and put the caps under that hinged cover so they were going down straighter.
 
If it is a wide bed you will have trouble getting gas to go in from the edge. I have had luck with going to the edge of the bed then turning up about 6" so thhe gas gets started down before it has to cross the flatter area. Also make sure your vent tube doesnt sag leaving a low spot as that will fill with gas and cause issues too.
 
I put one on a 1995 F350 diesel. I just use large hose to connect it. The only problem I have is the large nozzle on the farm tank will overflow the hose and spray out at you. I can take a close up of mine tomorrow if you like?
